Building a new brand identity for an ambitious startup, mixing premium design feel with functional travel aesthetics.

Aspirational Travel Design

The brief for designing the Flutis brand identity involved ticking a few different boxes, aiming to target a higher-end market but also not forgetting about travel being at the forefront of the business. The intention was to create a deep emotional response for potential customers through colours, space and rhythm.

Visuals were created with form and function, leaning on existing travel themes, such as the aircraft windows as a brand device and symbols inspired by airport signage. This approach allowed for an adaptable visual system which could grow with the business.

There was a level of abstractness that retained function. Colours, icons and shapes have deeper meanings, but had a purpose and use when creating artwork, marketing assets and templates.

Pushing the Brand Further

Being a startup with a passionate and motivated team, no idea was a bad idea and the business pushed out a huge variety of marketing materials. Together with the eye-catching brand, additional design work was created to keep on reaching target audiences and engage with customers.

As Flutis grows, the initial brand design is intended to grow with it, with strong design principles, offering a stable foundation of core visuals, they can be called upon to quickly put together an email, a social post or a sales pitch deck.
